Hi, I’m Adi.

I work in cybersecurity, and I’m most interested in the part most people skip: the trade-offs.

To me, security is rarely about finding the technically perfect solution. Every real decision means balancing security, engineering effort, operational complexity, cost, compliance, and business goals. That tension, choosing what is right for a system that has to ship, scale, and keep running, is what I find most interesting.

I’m based in Singapore. Here I share what I learn from working with production systems, exploring new technologies, and trying to better understand the decisions behind them. I write about cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, software engineering, and the broader engineering challenges that come with building and operating modern systems.

This website is where I think in public.

Some articles are technical deep dives. Others are troubleshooting guides, architectural discussions, or reflections on decisions that don’t always have a single right answer. Whenever I can, I try to explain not only how something works, but why a particular approach makes sense.

Writing forces me to organize my thoughts, challenge my own assumptions, and explain complex ideas clearly. As I continue studying, this website will grow alongside me, capturing new ideas, projects, experiences, and the lessons that come from them.
